As a part of my communications and public relations internship at Visit Mesa, I was in charge of social media content and engagement for Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. I also helped launch an Instagram Takeover campaign where influencer on a FAM would take over Visit Mesa’s Instagram and share their experience.
In addition to Visit Mesa’s consumer Twitter, I worked on the @VisitMesaPR account and focused on engaging with the media.
Instagram Takeover Campaign
I helped launch a campaign where we worked with Christina from the Blissful Balance, whose seven posts on the @VisitMesa Instagram page received 576 likes and 27 unique comments. The campaign was a success and Visit Mesa has continued to implement this idea.
